I think there's also a factor of degrees, or levels, of shittiness. there are certain people in the world whose death will inspire full on rave parties, and I'm kind of here going, depending on the degree of shittiness, the celebration level should proprortionately dial down. I don't know of any obvious shitty things Brendan did or allegedly did, at what time, to what people, or how he has since not been shitty, but he's still a degree or two lower than Joss Whedon himself, who is still a degree or five lower than JKR, who is still less than the antichrist.

It feels weird to celebrate this death when it's more lamentable. I can think of a dozen people whose deaths I would celebrate, Brendan wasn't even close to the top 50 of celebratable. Depressing, "alas," "oh well" maybe but not worth celebrating.

AYRT - Totally agree. There are absolutely people whose death I will celebrate, but Brendan gets nowhere near the shittiness threshold for me.
