Ever known someone you agree with but who is so rude you don't want to be "on their side"?

This is kind of random, but I'm on a subreddit for a reality TV show. And there's this one guy who is just so rude, abrasive, dismissive, and sometimes straight up hateful, but he says a lot of things I agree with... but he's such an asshole that I don't want to be "on his side." He makes so many comments where he's straight up nasty about the contestants on the show, and other people on the subreddit. Constantly complaining about "morons" on the sub (then why are you here, feel free to leave and find a place that isn't full of the "dumbest people on the internet"...) and personally attacking people who he doesn't agree with. It's crazy, because sometimes he'll come out with something really accurate and thoughtful, then you scroll down and half a dozen comments later, he's calling someone a dumb loser because they like a contestant he doesn't like.

Yup. When people are rude to people who disagree with their fandom opinions, it pisses me off even if I actually agree with their opinions.

oh, this

Extreme example - I do absolutely agree politically with ex-colleague. But she is suing my company for firing her because she wasn't doing her job. At all. And shit talked like everyone.

I know the feeling all too well. Assuming there are any comments where he mixes in the well-thought out points with insults, that's where this meme comes in handy:

Homelander meme with the text, When someone has the exact same opinion as you but they express it in such an annoying and obnoxious way that you lowkey don't want to agree

Less "rude" and more "words things in a way that's just greatly annoying," but that's essentially all of Tumblr and lots of YouTubers.
