My child adored Finding Nemo when they were a baby. We played out that DVD, over and over. Now my baby making whale noises is 17 and a full teenager itching to swim out on their own, and I keep remembering this line from the movie: "You can't never let anything happen to him. Then nothing would ever happen to him." It's silly, but this quotation comforts and guides me as the parent of a teenager.
