Well, I suppose you would, given this is your preferred version of how things went down. Though personally, and no offense meant, but there is no possible way I could watch S5 if it didn't include both of the brothers. S4 was painful enough, what with all the fighting; there's no way I could watch if one of the brothers was personally cut from the show, and there is no way Castiel could ever be a replacement for Sam, period. Sam is Sam, and Castiel is Castiel, and they aren't interchangeable to me -- and I don't think they are to Dean, either, even if he tried to pretend for a little while.

So, no offense, keep doing what you enjoy -- but I'm glad Kripke didn't go a route similar to yours. :)
