Part of me is overjoyed that Animal Crossing: New Horizons got a big update recently. It has some maaaaaajor quality-of-life updates, especially with regard to crafting. It's MUCH less annoying to craft things now.

However, another part of me wishes that instead of creating a big update for ACNH, they had instead moved on to work on the next installment of the game. As much as I love ACNH and still play it frequently to this day, I am kind of ready for the next one. Plus, my island is pretty well established (I would NEVER delete it and restart!!!) so the crafting improvements don't benefit me as much, at this point.

But you know what, it is what it is, and I'll just enjoy my comfort game being a little more fun/having a little less annoyance, and let the next game come when it's time. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if they are working on the next gen iteration of the series. I completely believe that 3.0 was released solely to push players onto the Switch 2. Or at least advertise that the game could be played on the Switch 2.

I kinda wish they'd release Amiibo Festival on the Switch. Something light and not too in-depth, yaknow?
