Re: Crossovers
(Anonymous) 2026-04-08 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)Actual crossovers where either both series exist in the same time/place/area and are crossing over, or where a character winds up in the other series' world, both can work but it's still a 'it depends on execution' because I am a picky, picky reader.
My fav. crossover is a Hunger Games/Buffy one, where Buffy is chosen as tribute of district 12. The same author also did Anita Blake/Buffy crossovers that I'm fond of. (And I ship Buffy/Asher because of her.)
(I actually prefer Buffy when crossed over than by itself, as a fandom to read, for whatever reason.)
I have written my own crossovers (and, in fact, have several unposted and on the go) but in both cases, I am the only author with that pairing tagged on AO3, and so I'd rather not name names about what ships I ship like burning from across the multiverse lol.
