As someone who's played both, I loved ACNH for the first few years but suffered from burnout pretty badly due to resetting and making multiple islands. Pokopia is by and large more creative with abilities and offering both building blocks and house kits. It's just a pity that "creative mode" aka the Magnemite ability is unlocked post game.
