I really, really would, but unfortunately I'm not the only one in the house and that's not a decision I can unilaterally make. He would have been gone day 2 if I had my way.

Luckily, it turns out the rest of the builders on the project are appalled and will be having a word, and while it grieves me to have to rely on a man there's a massive part of me that's just relieved.
