It isn't a full on NOTP, but I do dislike Sam/Lucifer. Which is weird because I love villain/hero ships and do ship Dean/Allistair. But Sam/Lucifer doesn't give me the same feelings.

Sam/Lucifer in particular and most hero/villain stuff of that stripe always feels to me like the bodice ripper 'rape to love' trope which I detest, so...can't do it.

Yes. I don't tend to ship them that way, when I do ship them. Either I want straight up noncon, or I want really long fics with seduction one way or the other, a believable journey of the hero to evil or the villain to good.

I think with Sam and Lucifer both I don't see chemistry and I also don't think I would believe the journey enough. Well, I could see Sam going evil, but not because he was seduced by Lucifer. And I can't see Lucifer ever turning good.

With Sam/Lucifer in particular, it didn't help that I thought the whole Lucifer storyline incredibly tedious after a few episodes, and i didn't really enjoy the actor, either.
Which is funny, because that same actor played a lawyer in the last couple seasons of 'The Closer' and i adored him on that.
