You can still use it but it takes some doing (https://www.reddit.com/r/uBlockOrigin/comments/1mtowwf/end_of_support_for_ubo_on_chrome_chromium/).

(It's not compatible with one of the training apps I use so I keep a separate updated version of Chrome to use that and sometimes I forget and surf in that version rather than the uBO-enabled version and I get slapped in the face by the very first website I go to with how en-fucking-shittified the internet is now. It's a literal swamp of ads in every direction. If I didn't have uBO I'd probably just go touch grass for the rest of my life, no joke.)
