After getting into Heated Rivalry, YouTube pushed the PWHL channel at me. I'm not a sports person but I started watching games just to have some more context for HR fics.

I think I might be a legit fan now??? I put the games on in the background, but then I stop doing what I'm doing and watch the game instead. I have favourite and least favourite teams (based entirely on vibes and jersey design though) and I get sad when I get spoiled on a game I couldn't see live.

I am probably more saddened by there being no new season of Spring Baking Championship than makes sense, but that show coming back heralds Spring for me. It stirs up my joy for the season and is something fun to look forward to. Just give us the tried and true, Food Network - stop messing with my Baking Championships!

I always find it funny when people in fandom try to insinuate that you can't say anything critical or bad about a female/non-white character.

Because over my time in fandom the one character you will never, ever be allowed to ever criticize for the smallest thing, even if the canon is actually narratively showing that they're wrong, is the fandom fave white boi.

I feel like hetero smut doesn't appeal to me because I hate men acting like Men, and having to be sexual with someone acting like that is so off-putting. I wish there were more odd kinks and such instead of just dominant growly men being dominant and possessive. It makes me feel like I could never have a decent sex life because anyone who could be attracted to me would probably want to dominate me and force me into a submissive role.

Look, I love Andor. And I'm enjoying Darth Maul. But to say they are more Star Wars than Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, or the Sequels is just silly. Have those people actually watched the OT? The OT isn't dark, isn't starring antiheroes, and always remains hopeful. Even ESB. I feel like the haters don't actually understand Star Wars.

I didn't make this secret, but I might as well have. I really only read M/M and F/F when it comes to smut. I'd probably read more M/F if there was more variety, more with the woman the one with more experience, more with the woman being the more dominant one, just more variety in general.

Adaptions You wish would happen

What are things that haven't been adapted yet, or only have bad adaptions, that you would love to see adapted? Would you rather see a movie, tv, or some other type of adaption?

Yeah, my general experience is that you're hard-pressed to find people saying anything at all about female and non-white characters who have the ill luck of sharing screen-time with the aforementioned fandom fave white boi.

It annoys me when anyone insinuates you "cannot" or "aren't allowed" to criticize anything in fandom.

You can. You can say anything you want. You can hate on female characters. You can hate on non-white characters. You can also, in fact, hate on the fandom fave white boi. You can even love the problematic character or canon. Then everyone else can respond to what you said with their thoughts on it because they are equally able to say anything they want.

I guess being like "by allow I mean I want to say whatever I want, whenever I want, wherever I want, without any criticism or disagreement or consequence, but don't want others to have the same ability" is embarrassing though, so everyone in this secret, including OP, is never frank about it.

I like all kinds of smut, but I'm especially partial to F/M femdom (it was one of many, many hints that I was bi, because after awhile I realized that I was projecting maybe a little too much onto the male sub. Haha)

But yeah, since you mentioned an actual sex life, it may be hard to find a guy who is into that, especially depending on your area.
