Two of the secrets are about games I had not heard of until today. Lol.

When some people I know said that they started playing the Legacy of Kain games (the Soul Reaver remasters in particular) because they watched a relative playing it when they were an ankle biter.

... The series as a whole is 30 years old this year and Soul Reaver is 26 and I was 14 when Soul Reaver dropped. :')

that explains why I keep getting Legacy of Kain soundtrack music on my synthwave radio. apparently Celldweller did the remaster soundtrack. Good for him!

lmao no, Celldweller did not do the Remaster soundtrack, that's still 100% Kurt Harland (from Information Society).

Celldweller did a soundtrack for the comic and recent spin-off game (Ascendance), and well... if you don't have anything nice to say... :X

(I liked his work on S3 of Killer Instinct but he's been a complete ass wrt LoK. Loooooong story.)

I'm watching Ashes To Ashes for the first time and it's set in 1981 and I'm sitting there going, "I remember that year."

I was so young that A2A didn’t ping a whole lot of memories for me but it did a few. It’s a phenomenal show and I know this is Wrong™ but I liked it so much more than Life on Mars.

That my freshman year of college was 40 years ago.

I turned 40 last week. But between back pain and what I think is perimenopause I feel ten years older. Also all those 30 year anniversaries for things I remember playing/watching/listening to as a kid. I also tend to grumble about ~kids these days~ a lot.

(Then again, I went shopping with my mom and a cashier was advising my mom to get the app for their store and told her "you granddaughter can explain it to you" and now we're not sure if my mom should feel insulted or I should feel flattered lol.)

My coworkers saying which grade/what age they were in 2012 and me going "...I was 26 and on my first trip to Europe" when they were like. 7/8

An actor I've recently gotten into is 30, and people in fandom keep calling him "the old man" and "cringe millennial". He is THIRTY and BARELY on the edge of Millennial. Way to make my Geriatric Millennial ass feel old.

Good Lord, the oldest Gen Z is like 31 years old now....????

Oldest Gen Z is 30. 1996. Said actor was born in 1995 but has not has his birthday yet.

I know, fellow nonny! I have friends that were born in the 2000s and somehow they're in their TWENTIES?
