Bringing up being not very online as the reason why more people don't know about her transphobia is so tiring. It's not that it isn't true; it is. But it's always used by way of "gotcha, see, this proves it isn't that big a deal." No, what it proves is that trans lives are so unimportant that it's possible for decent people to be in the dark about the damage someone as famous as JK Rowling is doing, because the mainstream doesn't talk about it.
