Just as Good
(Anonymous) 2026-05-09 04:58 pm (UTC)(link)Re: Just as Good
I've only recently watched the original Whose Line is it Anyway, the British version. I love it. I honestly love all three versions (I do think of the American revival as its own thing).
I think the Bad Wolves cover of Zombie is equal to the original Cranberry version. I genuinely really love both versions. Just overall a great song.
The White Stripes Seven Nation Army is great, but I think Skald cover is equally awesome. I may slightly prefer the Skald version.
Disturbed's cover of Sound of Silence is so different to the original but is equally great.
Re: Just as Good
Horror remakes have several that are better than the originals for me. Like The Thing (1982), Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), Crazies (2010) and The Fly (1986)
Honestly, lots of songs because I usually prefer the first version I listened to.
Re: Just as Good
(Anonymous) 2026-05-09 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)I prefer High Society to The Philadelphia Story.
I love the movie The Fugitive (1993).
The 2015 Daredevil TV show is so much better than the 2003 movie that it almost feels blasphemous to mention the movie.
I think the TV show The Flash (2014) is better than the TV show The Flash (1990).
I'm somewhat interested to see what they do with the upcoming Murder, She Wrote movie with Jamie Lee Curtis, but very skeptical of them making a The Holiday (2006) TV show.

(Anonymous) 2026-05-09 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)...and just having this text box open changed my youtube algorithm so I'm not adding my other three examples. Yikes.
