I'm scared of machines that destroy without awareness. Like electric sawblades and hydraulic presses. Things you can't plead with to stop, because there's no intelligence listening.

This makes some games a lot more stressful than I think they were supposed to be.

I have the same fear, especially after hearing about some horrible things that have happened with escalators. (I know those aren't designed to destroy things, but it's the same concept if something goes wrong.) Machinery in general creeps me out sometimes, especially if it's under water.
