SO my GP forwarded my referral to the psych on 22nd of April, they've been having a hard time trying to find me a psych in their office willing to take my case because it was listed as a one off.

so naturally I had to call my GP's office to get them to change the number on the referral and send it through again

I should not have to chase up my own psych and GP why is society like this can't they communicate properly????

A one off means it's unprofitable, right?

So it's not a matter of communication. It's a matter of privatized healthcare. Which is why you needed a referral. And why you needed to follow up. Billable hours.

Not really, a one off means that my doctor underprioritised my mental health which means that despite my sister coming in as back up to ensure I got the referral, he still downplayed what's going on with me.
