I feel like there's going to be hate no matter what at this point, and also of course there is EXTRA hate because he is Black.

I loved everything about 15 but his final episode. That had serious issues. But beyond that, he was amazing and the writing was good. I don't get the hate at all.

I loved everything about him too. The final episode really bummed me out. I’d hoped that cameo from Thirteen would’ve meant a multi-Doctor adventure but nope, he just regenerates into Rose.

This secret made me really glad because 15 quickly became one of my favorite modern versions of the Doctor (with 9 and 10), and I also loved his run. I didn't know he was hated. Maybe he'll come back in a multiDoctor episode special one day? Fingers crossed.

I liked Gatwa as the Doctor, I just didn't like the majority of the writing and disliked the episodes he was barely in.

With that said I do think 15th's Doctor's era also suffered from the downfall of Jodie Whittaker's series; which lead to a lot of people dropping the series altogether and not even bothering to pick it up again.

He was not for me (no hate, I think I’m just getting old) but I’m genuinely happy to see that there are lots of people who did enjoy that run.

That’s so lovely to hear!

I didn’t mean to suggest my opinion was shared by all “old” people, just that something was changing for me as I age.
