I recently got to see Lionel Messi play a game in person. He is magnetic on the pitch and it's undeniable what a great talent he is on the field.
But at the same time, he's just a guy. Regular dude who is clearly just doing his job. Have to hear fireworks go off so often during opening ceremonies it doesn't phase him.

My mind is still trying to weld together that Lionel Messi is both a living legend and just a guy.

I love "hidden world" type fantasy stories. I never quite shed that childhood belief in magic, and that if I just turned the right corner, or looked behind the right tree, I'd find the gateway to fairyland or find the magic city. That said, there is no way in hell I'm watching the new Harry Potter show.

It doesn't have a TV show, but OP, have you tried the Wayward Children novella series? It's YA, and some of the later ones aren't as good IMO, but as a former seeker-of-portals-to-magical-worlds myself, it satisfies a part of my heart. There's even mention of a world that would have taken me for sure if I'd come across the door.

Sometimes I like to annoy the He-Man fans by pointing out that He-Man is canonically an American citizen. His mother was an American Astronaut, so he has citizenship even if she did marry a Fantasy King.

I love heterosexual life partner characters and wish it were more of a common trope. But I dislike it when people make gay jokes about it. Gay romance is good, deep friendship bonds are good, there's no need to make dumb jokes about the former just because the latter feels too corny.

I don't think Steve Irwin was good to animals. He didn't respect animals and mostly got popular for shock value of how he'd be rough and grab the animals and get closer than others. I hate how he's now held up as some amazing person when there are better examples people couod hero worship.
