Soaring gas prices, food shortages this fall... oh, and let's not forget the Big Beautiful Bill, which kicks in after the midterms, so that everyone can blame the Democrats for losing their healthcare and even higher prices on everything (and for the record, some of the blame does lie with Democrats for not putting that vile piece of shit behind bars when they had the chance, but I've grown tired of this bullshit pattern that Republicans use to pretend they're fiscally conservative with better policies).

oops, I guess that was a slight tangent and mostly about America. But still a good warning to stock up, wherever you are.

I was thinking that, since the States makes most of its own fertilizer (maybe enough to also export some? I'm no expert), that we wouldn't see as much food shortage, but given the price increases already across the board for all goods and services (and all of our tax monies being stolen for that stupid ballroom and to enrich his cronies), it will be more of an artificial shortage due to most Americans being priced out.

I know that experts say it will be especially harrowing for almost all islands since they have to import either fertilizer or food to sustain their populations.
