(Anonymous) 2026-05-17 02:54 am (UTC)(link)I was thinking that, since the States makes most of its own fertilizer (maybe enough to also export some? I'm no expert), that we wouldn't see as much food shortage, but given the price increases already across the board for all goods and services (and all of our tax monies being stolen for that stupid ballroom and to enrich his cronies), it will be more of an artificial shortage due to most Americans being priced out.
I know that experts say it will be especially harrowing for almost all islands since they have to import either fertilizer or food to sustain their populations.
