Mike Meyers is semi-retired and living the good life, so it's not like he worries about landing acting jobs. But I respect him for not dyeing his hair dark black/brown and acting like oh of course, 60-somethings totally don't have gray hair the way so much older Hollywood actors do. (I mean okay, dye your hair if you want but you're a millionaire, please go to a proper salon because your head looks like you dipped it in shoe polish.)

If they choose (insist upon) the wrong color, it ain't gonna matter if they go to a salon. I am absolutely on board with people dyeing their hair for whatever reason they want.

But, please, if you are going for a natural color, choose a shade that looks good on you. If you are not going for a natural color, still choose a shade that looks good on you. There are certain shades that, depending on your skin tone, can make you look sickly (ashy or sallow or fricking orange) or older than you are.

I'm very pro- people dyeing their hair, I WISH I had white hair bc I can't get mine light enough to do fun stuff with without damaging it so much it gets crunchy. But I agree that if you're just gonna make it like, brown, that's lame and you probably shouldn't bother. At least white is visually interesting, if you're gonna dye your hair, do a fun color.

I feel like this secret is specifically about Chris Evans in the movie Red One. Every time he stepped into sunlight I wanted to shove a baseball cap on his head, the hair coloring was so tragically bad. Shoe polish bad lol.

This is exactly why I don't like romance media. This is what it would take for me to believe the romance most of the time, but I also probably got bored way before that. So I'm much happier where romance are side plots and I can ship, but where the central plot is something else.

RPF and Wrestling

I've been thinking about whether or not fanfiction about wrestlers is RPF (real person fanfic). A fic about Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky isn't about Demi Bennet or Masami Odate. Demon Finn Balor is not Fergal Devitt. Liv and Dominik aren't together in real life, but their WWE personas are.

I checked out some of the top fics on ao3 and they are all about WWE storylines, use their ring names, etc. So...is it RPF or character based?

This is a better use of my insomnia than catastrophizing.
