I hate it when people are dismissive of other people's fandoms or interests. I understand that sometimes, it's something you just don't care about. But why be a jacks over it? I see this everywhere, sadly. I even see it within my own fandoms, when referring to other fandoms. Or people who don't like a particular ship being dismissive about it. Why is it so hard for so many people to understand that other people care about stuff that they don't care about?

This so much! I sometimes wonder if they even really like things, or they just want to hate things.

In my current fandom there are a few pairings I really like to read. And everything else is Not For Me. It’s fine. Some people treat their preferences like their personality and see to make people not like the same things as dismissive of them as people.
