In the German version of Pokémon Red/Blue, the trainers on Nugget Bridge go "Ich habe alles gegeben. Ich schäme mich nicht" after getting defeated.

This translates to "I gave it my all. I'm not ashamed" and to this day, about 25 years after first playing the game, this is still my mantra in the aftermath of tough situations. Like exams, job interviews or once even after a really bad breakup.

(The text in the English version is "I did my best. I have no regrets" which is also a nice sentiment but doesn't have the same edge, imo.)
