My most recent completed project was a Charlie Brown quilt that I will be unironically donating to the Linus Project. The quilt is yellow with a black zigzag running across about 3/4 of the way down from the top. I used some fab Snoopy print cotton for the backing.

That could work because it looks sturdy. The kittens love to knock over everything.
