Do you have any hobbies? I've had extended periods of unemployment, too. What made it stressful was worrying about money, not boredom. If I didn't have to worry about income, I'd have plenty of things to fill my days... and that is in fact what I did, to take my mind off the stress. I made a big dent in my reading list, finished a few projects around the house that I hadn't gotten around to, actually succeeded in growing delicious tomatoes that summer, learned to make kimchi, got a lot of exercise in walking the dog, experimented with crochet which I still suck at but it's fun to play around with crafting. Like forgive me, but it doesn't sound like you have a lot going on if you're that easily bored, but I wouldn't assume it's the same way for everyone.
