Because I'm getting tons of PMs and stuff about this: stuff featuring actual porn of lolicon/shota/whatever will be linked, or was supposed to be just linked, just like every other secret featuring explicit porn. But sometimes I make mistakes and a secret gets by that should have been just linked. If a secret is posted that should be linked or warned for, notify me in the name the fandom thread and I'll fix it as soon as I can.

Unfortunately, secrets about lolicon/shota will not be banned because some people think it's wrong or gross or whatever. Some people think fic about rape or gore is wrong or gross or whatever. Some people think slash is wrong or gross or whatever. I'm sure everyone agrees that actual child porn is a bad thing. Lolicon/shota is not actual child porn.

Once again, I'm sorry for letting #127 get past my radar yesterday, and will try not to let it happen again.

Yeah, but there are some people who are all, "This is a big mistake! Not like double posting a secret. No, this is huge! He should have paid closer attention!".

Which, to me, goes beyond just being upset over a potential trigger/illegal* image and into the realm of blaming Technophile for letting the secret through.

*Repeating what I've said elsewhere ad nauseam: I can't think of a government with that many resources to spend that it hunts down people who click a link on a non-child porn website and there is, amongst many images, ONE child porn type image on a site that there usually aren't any.

About your asterisk, it doesn't matter whether there's a small chance of being caught or not, people shouldn't have to take that risk if they don't want to.

To be honest, dude? Callous as it sounds, it's the internet. Not everyone is a nice person, a la all the trolls that like to roll through here, and no matter where you go there's a chance someone's going to spring shit on you that you don't want. Hackers, people with joke accounts...especially on a site like this, where it's not the webmaster, but the USERS who can upload content and display it to the world with or without proper warnings.

This isn't 4chan, but it also isn't fluffy bunny land where everything is monitored for your convenience. There's only so much that can be done, and complaining that you could get in trouble for something like that is a little silly. Plus, I'll reiterate the other anon's point--most sane governments won't get you in trouble for accidentally viewing an image, since that's money that is wasted on a ridiculous investigation that is clearly not worth their time when they could be tracking down real pedophiles and rapists.

I don't expect fluffy bunny land, but I also don't expect lolicon and guro from F!S. I don't think it's silly at all to just not want to see that. I'm not even asking for it to be banned, just saying people aren't stupid for being bothered by it.
