No, it hasn't...?

The industry has moved on: idk where you've been, but if people aren't talking about Sarah J. Maas and her books, they're wanking over Brandon Sanderson and his books.

Hate to say it, but... you need to grow up and read books for grown ups and stop clinging to YA fiction for kids.

I mean I guess you could make an argument that Manacled happened because of HP.

But yeah, for HP inspirations... all I can think of is Percy Jackson and Series of Unfortunate Events, which is a stretch and I wouldn't agree with that argument.

OTOH I'm an adult with no kids who doesn't read YA so I'm not well versed on the trends.
