You might have more luck if you go to places where people already are freely discussing kinks and NSFW content, join in, and make friends there? As opposed to making friends in SFW areas then trying to figure out how to bring up these topics

Oh yeah, I absolutely do not want to approach this in SFW spaces. I just don't really know where those "spaces" are? I have an "after dark" account on social media but it's empty/mostly reposts and I haven't really... found anyone in my fandoms talking about that or posting Discord server links. So I just feel more awkward.
