Up and Wall-E are some of my least favorite Pixar movies; I just don't find them as beautiful and emotionally rich as people claim them to be.

Am I broken?

I've never felt Pixar was all that either.

They have one trick, really, (with a couple of minor exceptions) and that is "things which are not people act like people, hilarity ensues" and that is mostly it.

It is played out.
