I didn't learn about it until I got to college, so there's probably a lot of that dog whistle that went right over my head.

In which case the questions are:
1. Was Rowling aware of the alleged connection between greedy goblins and antisemitic stereotypes (probably not) instead of just using as classic fantasy creature for her children's book (much more likely)
2. Is this harmful on a large scale when 95% of readers are not aware of the alleged implications and thus also don't see this as an antisemitic offensse they would ever reproduce?
