I'm sorry, I didn't mean to laugh my ass off at your secret, but I couldn't get over your comment of "That's the one where House basically stomps all over the afterlife theory."

I know it's not exactly your fault, 'cause it's the only episode you've seen, but if you were to watch more of it, you'd realize he does that an awful lot. Narrowing it down like that is like saying, "That's that episode of Bones where she disses pyschology as a respectable practice" or "That's that movie of Tim Burton's that has Johnny Depp in it."

House isn't everyone's cup of tea, don't worry about it. I myself believe in an afterlife and still enjoy the show to a great extent, but then again, I'm a conservative lesbian, so I'm used to writing off the bits and pieces in life with which I do not agree. XD

This only intensifies my need not to watch Bones. Bones may be intelligent but damn she can be an idiot too. That statement proves it.

Well, if you're overly sensitive about psychology, then I suppose you're right. However, Bones isn't like House with her opinions. She isn't purposefully an asshole when expressing her views on the practice, she just considers psychology a soft science and unnecessary for her particular line of work. She doesn't mean to offend anyone. Her partner works as her opposer with his own opinions (psychology included), though, and often makes points she hadn't considered, so it's quite a bit different then House and his end-all be-all attitude with his personal views. I was just making a point of the anon's statement being slightly redundant.

A better reason not to watch Bones is that she's a mega Mary Sue. Most people I know who watch it do so in spite of Brennan. I like all the other characters. (The interns this season are especially great.)

Really? I've lost a lot of interest since Zack left. I hate all those new kids. I guess Wendell's kind of growing on me, but for the most part, they aggitate me.

You know what annoys me most? They wrote him off the show for NO REASON. He didn't have or want to leave - the writers just wanted a 'shock'. Personally, I wasn't as shocked as I was furious at that ham-handed finale, but whatever. :/

Aw, I like Brennan, and I've never seen her as overly Sue-ish. I say this as something of a die-hard Bones, fan, though, so take it with a grain of salt. But personally, I'd say the biggest reason not to watch the show is the overall decline in quality, starting in season 3. Not enough character development and too many cheap laughs, these days. =/
