Eh, it's your money, spend it on what you want. Everyone's got a hobby that other people no doubt think is weird. Though my empathy dries up when it's people spending money on dolls instead of their bills.

But christ on toast, those things are fucking creepy.

I don't go to many cons any more. When I do, I spend a lot of time hiding behind a book or staring at the ceiling because people walk around with those things on their shoulders and is creeps the hell out of me. ;_; CREEPY BLANK EYES.

I don't mind if people want to play with their dolls. I've got a couple friends that are in to those (wow I don't get it) but they're nice enough to filter their picture posts about dolls or at least put them behind the LJ cut.

I wish dolls were that easy to avoid at conventions.

Yeah, I appreciate that they're so well-made and detailed, but... hell, I had to sell my only doll ($20 Spike Spiegel figure) because I hated having SOMETHING LOOKING AT ME.

Which is also weird.
