(Anonymous) 2010-01-11 08:42 pm (UTC)(link)Obviously, what you decide to do is up to you, but please make sure that you're in an okay place if you do decide to tell them what's behind your revulsion at this ship. There are lots of people in fandom (and irl) who understand, but not everyone is in the position to respond appropriately to that kind of disclosure. The kind of person who can't see why someone wouldn't want to ship an adult and a child (and I'm making no judgment of their kink) is possibly someone who can't give you the response that you might want.
