New poll (as the other was misleading for some) after taking what everyone had to say into account. Some things have changed:

The grouping will only be for the big fandoms, if it happens i.e. if there are more than 5 secrets of the same fandom in the same day's batch. So if there were 20 Doctor Who secrets, they would be grouped together. If there were 4 Supernatural secrets, they would be kept random.

The rest of the post would be random as usual, so the randomness would never be completely lost.

The secrets will continue to be picked in random order from the week's batch.

I don't get why more people aren't voting no. It's a bad enough when you have to wait for four or five Dr. Who secrets to load, but twelve or fifteen or even twenty? You also get screwed if a particular day has a high percentage of fandoms that don't interest you.

You'd have to wait for the exact same number of Dr Who secrets to load whether they were grouped together or not, though?

At least they're spread out over the week. A particular day could feature three big fandoms that don't interest me--and that could take up half the day's secrets or more. And if the fandom *does* interest me I might not get another secret in it for another week. I don't check F!S every day, so I like my fandoms to be distributed throughout the week.

For what it's worth, I'm more likely to read the secrets of fandoms that don't interest me if they're scattered throughout the post. Since they've started to be grouped I find myself just skipping past.

You should get that stutter checked out. ;)

Technophile's not changing the way the secrets are being picked for posting, though, just how they're organized once they're picked. "The secrets will continue to be picked in random order from the week's batch."

It's not a matter of going through the secret post and picking all the Dr Who ones, it's a matter of, once the day's secrets are picked, IF there's five or more of Dr Who or SPN or whatever picked that day, THEN they're grouped together in that day's post
