What I want to know is whether Artie was aware that that ep actually ended with two other members of his Glee Club lying even more blatantly for even more profit to themselves. Rachel and Finn's job-hunting at the end is far more offensive and plays even more into discriminatory feelings towards disabled people imo (the idea that being in a wheelchair means you get special treatment), but it was like a joke at the end of the ep that never got revisited again.

And in her case she was at least a stupid kid who was probably under actual distress when she originally lied. Those two seemed to have gotten the idea from the lesson that was supposed to make them think about their privilege as able-bodied people.
