I don't blame Artie at all for the way he reacted; I think it was a perfectly reasonable reaction (although, yeah, count me in on the :/ that Kevin McHale thinks Artie liked her because he thought she was disable) for where he was and the way teenagers think and the actual confession.
On the other hand? I desperately want to get Tina some help for her social anxiety, because "shyness" does not make you fake a disability for years to get people to give you space. That is serious social anxiety.
And it bothers me that the show appears to think it was as simple as shyness and now that she has the Glee club as friends she doesn't need to be shy anymore!! ...And the fact that they dropped her stutter completely after that episode without dealing with her, like, telling anyone besides Artie that it was fake. That bothers me, too.
WAY TO COMPLETELY FUCK UP SEVERAL DIFFERENT KINDS OF DISABILITIES AT ONCE, SHOW.

Count me in too! I think that's why I read it that way in the show and what caused me to seriously start disliking Artie.
