What in fandom interests me: Fic! A lot. I love staring at people's fanart, too. Character and episode meta. Yuri! And het. Enthusiasm. I also RP in

polychromatic.
What in fandom does NOT interest me: Yaoi, for the most part. Character or writer bashing. Wank. Picspam.
Major Non-fandom Interests: Books! Even if I don't really participate in their fandoms, I read constantly. Also techgeeking and home-owning.
My LJ Contains Mostly: Geeking about fandom, commentary about my life, GBLT interests, random amusing things-- but really, mostly fandom.

What an awesome book series, right? I was reading it at the same time as a fandom friend, and she ended up being disappointed in it, but I don't know how. D:

I need to catch up on Maria+Holic. And I read Soul Eater for Kid because he is incredibly super awesome.

Oh man it really is. I didn't even know about it until summer of last year and all I heard was GREEK MYTHOLOGY and I had to read it. AAAAAAH MOVIE IN TWO WEEKS DO WANT SO BAD.

How far are you in Maria+Holic? It's a pretty epic series. And yes Kid is amazing. Chrona is my favorite though. Adorable wooooobie.

I seriously give any show with yuri a chance. Except Simoun. I have no idea but I can NEVER get the motivation to watch Simoun.

I actually had to read it because one of my favorite ficwriters was in the fandom hardcore and I wanted to understand what she was writing about. Not disappointed! It's reminding me how obsessed I was with Greek mythology when I was like. 10. I am terribly excited for the movie too!

Uhhhh I was actually caught up at some point but I don't think I've looked at it in six months. I was honestly disappointed when that one person turned out to be crossdressing? Because that meant it wasn't yuri.

daily_yuri for my fix. Oh, and rec no one has ever heard of: Otoboku~maidens are falling for me~ is set in a girls' school and though the main character is crossdressing there is a lot of yuri subtext with the other girls. o/

Have you heard he's making another Camp Half-Blood series in... fall I think it was? AND a book with Egyptian Mythology that's coming out in May? I swear to god that man is hitting the buttons of every mythology geek out there.

... Yeah one of them. I guess my lack of motivation is because mecha anime aren't really my thing(...even though I've watched KannaMiko several times), but it's still weird.

As soon as I finished The Last Olympian I went online and looked that stuff up. SO THRILLED~~ After Greek mythology I was into Egyptian mythology so much, he is definitely hitting my buttons. I want more Percy, though, and I bet he won't be the main character of the new Half-Blood series. I mean, it makes sense that he won't be, but I love the way he narrates.

Oooooooh~ now a crossdressing woman, I can get behind that. I'll have to go back and reread and get ito it.

OMG YAY I ship them too (obviously from that icon haha). I cannot wait until Chrona and Maka meet again, I think Maka will fix her. ♥

I don't like mecha anime either... I never even watched Gundam Wing. I don't actually watch a lot of anime; most recent was Nyan Koi. Which has definite yuri subtext in it btw, see this icon. |D I read more manga than I watch anime.

wow, thats a lot of fandoms... did I just see Outlaw Star on that list? And other 90's anime that I love because I'm too lazy to watch the recent ones.

I'm mostly in the FF7 fandom and I usually talk about games and post bad fanart.

Yeah, well, I can't say I'm active in all of them, but I've finished most of them and have fangirled over or ficced for 90% of them.

Outlaw Star! I want to rewatch it and see if it's still as awesome as I remember. I shipped Gene/Melfina so hard.

Okay, FF7! Here's my opinions in case you want to like, turn around and leave. |D; I was never really in the fandom when I was playing the game, and I've never had any desire to play anything past the first game. I don't get the obsession over the Turks, think Cloud is a total woobie (but I ♥ him anyway), and I wish Aeris wasn't dead. :/ Also I think Tifa could have totally done better than second place.

Disney's Hercules is one of my favorite movies ever. I can practically quote the thing, I've seen it so much. Meg is awesome.

YOUR FF7 OPINIONS ARE FINE WITH ME. Anyone who doesn't hate the main ladies are fine with me actually. And I prefer the original to the compilation anyway.

Hercules is one of my favourites aswell. When I got the dvd I screencapped the fuck out of Meg because I just loved how she was animated haha.

I love the ladies! Aeris and Tifa are so freaking awesome. I think Tifa was one of my very first experiences with a woman who can really kick ass. She was totally in my party forever. I beat the game with her and Cloud and Red XIII who is the best mutated tigerthing ever.

She's really pretty! And she's not ashamed to flirt or be appealing, while at the same time she's a tough girl. She totally tops Herc. |D

Tifa's probably my favourite character from FF7. And YES Red XIII was actually the first character I really liked, I always had him in my party. I JUST LIKE TALKING ANIMALS.

I'll just go ahead and friend you now, the Kate Beaton icon is compelling me to.
