I should stop lurking like a creepy creeper and just friend you already, right?

In the immortal words of the tiny hobo, do it. :3

May I friend you? I've been a huge fan of your Watchmen fic for ages.

By all means!

Also I just noticed that you're a TF fan, which made me go 'fuck yes!' even though TF fandom largely scares me because it's so damn big and dramatastic.

hoshit someone else knows what The Wire is <3 I just started season five.

Also, HAY WATCHMEN.

YOU HAVE EXCELLENT TASTE.

I only own seasons one to four on DVD, so I still need to watch five. The show needs more love.

Hello fellow Band of Brothers fan! Wanna be my friend? :D

Hi! I know I'm a little late to the party, but I have exams at the moment and ... yeah. XD

So, I started dabbling in the Dragon Age fandom, too, still need some people on my flist to talk about it and you seem like an interesting person. Mind if I friend you? :) (I don't know, if we have many other fandoms in common, but feel free to check out my profile. ;))

Friend away. :) I only dabble in DA, as well - I keep meaning to pay more attention to it, but Watchmen has eaten my brain, so I don't really keep up with the DA communities. I'm usually interested in DA stuff when I see it crop up, though.

Also, I glanced through your journal and saw that you shipped Loghain and Maric. I've not even finished the book yet, and I'm already like, 'HMMM THIS IS A BIT SLASHY'.

Wonderful! Added you back! :) Watchmen? I haven't read the graphic novel, but I liked the movie and am generally easily corrupted into liking new fandoms, so ... ;)

'HMMM THIS IS A BIT SLASHY'
I know. I had this tingling in the back of my head the first moment Loghain showed up and was all "I hate you, but someone has got to take care of you, right?" Besides, Gaider writes poor romance, so Maric/Loghain felt much more natural than all of the other Maric/... or Loghain/...

I'd recommend the Watchmen GN to everyone. I'd argue that it's better than the movie, because it contains a wealth of detail that the movie glosses over, and the extra information helps to put more things into context. It's also grittier. And Book!Laurie > Movie!Laurie. But I'm very biased. The movie version is still good, and the bit showing Doctor Manhattan's backstory makes me squeal in horrible fangirl joy.

Yes! And I'm a sucker for well-meaning dorks and grumpy, pragmatic jerks who like them anyway.
