I hate secrets like this.

So what, you enjoy a catchy, popular song. Why does that make you, or anyone else, hate yourself? Because music can only be good if it's Shelley-level poetry? Or unless it "means something"?

Or is it just that Ke$ha's popular, thereby denying you the pleasure of gloating about how you don't listen to ~mainstream~ music?

Yeah, just shut up.

I like the tune of the song. It gets stuck in my head all the time.

However, I loathe the lyrics and the way she sings it. It's so trashy that it makes me want to vomit on her and scratch the $ out of her name.

And this is coming from a fan of pop music.

I hate myself for somehow inexplicably associating that song with Green Lantern Corps. PLEASE DON'T ASK, I DON'T KNOW EITHER.

I just feel like I wouldn't hate myself for liking the song if she didn't always look drunk and psychotic.

Aughgh, it's so catchy I can't help but love listening to it! But the lyrics make me seriously concerned for the well-being of whoever wrote it. Problem drinking is LESS AWESOME THAN IT SOUNDS, really.

There's something just terribly embarrassing about a white girl singing lyrics like "ERRBODY GETTIN' CRUNK."

ngl, I love this song. I think it's massively imperfect, but it's so badass (weak justification, I know, but still). I think I like it because it's a) imperfect and b) trashy. If every line in the song was as good as "when I leave brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack, 'cause when I leave for the night I ain't coming back," this would be the best party song ever, but they aren't, and I find that really engaging, somehow. As for the trashy part, um, see the aforementioned line? She knows it's trashy, and she owns it, and she has fun with it, and I love that.

I just hate it because Uffie did it better/trashier.
