This! I try to stay out of Willy Wonka versus Charlie because I can only remember one thing that happened in Willy Wonka, and that's the stupid bubble/floating/whatever scene where Charlie does the same stupid thing all the other kids did which kicked them out of the running. What bugs me even more is when people try to defend it by saying it made Charlie more believable. Apparently, knowing not to touch other people's things and keeping his hands to himself turns Charlie into an unimaginable pinnacle of virtue.
And if you're talking about something else, sorry for ranting at you. Like I said, I don't remember Willy Wonka outside of this point.
