Why are some people too stupid to understand that while yes, some people might want them to end up together that's not necessarily true for all of us who ship them? Or maybe they just want to keep playing dumb.

The actors have great chemistry, sorry it's so frustrating for those who ship the lousy canon (for now) pairing). It's gotta suck knowing your pairing is hated by a great portion of fandom but stop blaming it on us. It's your own fault for shipping Penny with that ass Leonard.

Sorry your ships sucks so bad, but don't blame S/P for being popular.

Where did anyone in this thread imply that everyone who ships this wants them to end up together? Saying "I can't see it" =/= "Everyone who sees it is a delusional nutjob." Nor is it a rude, personal attack at anyone who does ship that. In fact, the only person being rude about other shippers (so far) is you.

Yeah, wow, you have been the ONLY person in this thread so far who has been rude. Everyone else here has been very respectful and most of us have admitted to really LIKING Sheldon's character, but not being able to really 'ship him with ANYONE. That doesn't equal "OMG EVERYONE WHO 'SHIPS SHELDON/PENNY IS AN IDIOT", at all. Nobody said that Parsons and Cuoco don't have good chemistry. Nobody said that their interactions weren't fantastic. So just ... calm down a little. Nobody's blaming anyone for anything here, at all.

I think you're just being overly confrontational about the whole thing, and there really was no reason for it.

I don't ship Sheldon/Penny OR Leonard/Penny. I think Leonard and Penny's relationship has played out terribly, but I also don't think Sheldon and Penny would work as a couple at all.
