IAWTC. That was a biiig problem for me when i was first getting into fandom and stuff. "You can't do good fanart because you're only 13." >((( that kind of thing.

Dude, I don't get it. I'm 17 and I've been drawing all my life, but I know 12 year-olds that have talent way beyond me. I can understand that age=knowledge, but it can't make up for raw talent. I remember getting crap for being 12 and writing novella-length stories that were (obviously) crap since I was so young. It's infuriating, and a good way to make tons of people have non-existent self-esteem. :/

I know! It's so frustrating. ;__; At 16, People still try to tell me that I suck because I'm not an adult. It's insane. u__u

You should just kick them in the face. :3

Hopefully one day people will understand that there's not much of a correlation between talent and age. (Prodigies, anyone?)

...I wouldn't hold your breath, though.
