(Anonymous) 2007-05-01 12:14 am (UTC)(link)I know I'm a busy person too and there are a few people I don't talk to immediately when I come online, but some friends occasionally leave me messages or drop an e-mail and that's really all that matters to let them know you're thinking of them. If they're your real life friends, that's one thing. If they're online friends, then you shouldn't expect too much. We don't know what it is they're doing in real life and they're entitled to doing it.

(Anonymous) 2007-05-01 12:21 am (UTC)(link)For example, I once had an internet-friend that I ran an online forum with as co-admins. She would update her LJ with all these RP logs and collab fanarts that she would do with other people, but never find the time to drop by on our forum, or talk to me.
This is another, similar situation. I don't think that I'm being a bad friend.

(Anonymous) 2007-05-01 12:29 am (UTC)(link)As in the example I mentioned above, I didn't have any interest in the other things that friend was doing, only wished she would have an interest in what I was doing.
As in this situation, I think the best thing for me to have done was to let go, and so I did.
