DON'T DO IT! It's nasty shit. Nobody really knows what the long-term effects are and I've had some horrible side effects from it. It's being talked about as this massive killer in the news at the moment, which is a total exaggeration of course when you read less hysteric articles which give you the solid evidence, but still I really wouldn't recommend it.
Hardly shelters for homeless puppies or orphanages, I think.
Well, arguably ditto for multi-nationals :P
I personally am not big on buying from people I don't know because like you said, who knows where the money goes or what the hell's in it? I know a few people who grow pot so it's actually not hard to get hold of it and it's just going towards their personal wealth.
Probably more people than you think dabble in drugs but a lot tend to keep it quiet because it's so ~controversial. Most of the time, it's friends enjoying a spliff from a safe source rather than the drug lords you see in the media.
