what the hell are you talking about? A crapload of actresses, models, style icons, etc., have small breasts.

Audrey Hepburn
Shakira
Nicole Kidman
Keira Knightly
Kate Moss
Leighton Meester

What do all those women have in common? All of them are (conventionally) beautiful and not one of them are D-cups. Seriously, I will never get why some small breasted women sit there and act people will automatically judge them as hideous because of their bra size.

shit, i think i just commented in the wrong place. sorry, anon.

and as a large-boobed girl i agree with you. oh, you poor b-cups and your ability to wear whatever the hell you want -_-

Okay, take this from the perspective of someone who is a 32B.

CLOTHES DON'T FUCKING FIT. THEY DON'T.

If they don't stretch horribly across the chest while fitting loosely everywhere else, then they have all this space at the chest and fit everywhere else. About the only thing guaranteed to fit properly are things designed to hang loosely, like men's t-shirts and such.

Clothing: Made for A cups and C cups... and then the specialty stuff for large-breasted women, but I don't know too much about that other than that it exists.

Ugh, yes. This 36C hourglass has some of the same clothing problems you do. There have been plenty of blouses that fit in the shoulders and waist, and even fit my upper arms (which is a neat trick), but just won't button across the boobs. Get the next size up, and everything's at least an inch too big. Having read your post, I'm thinking clothes today are just shittily made.

Actually no. Clothes are made for a B cup. It's the standard fit industry-wide. You may not fit standard sizing due to other body shape issues (and couture and high end clothing is cut generally slimmer everywhere, including the bust), but I can tell you most definitively that women's clothing, regardless of size, is drafted for a B.

Oh my god your clothes don't fit? Where the hell do you shop? I'm a 36D, and if something fits over my stomach and waist, arms and shoulders even, my boobs are hanging out. I even have a hard time wearing v-neck shirts. I have to wear loose or too revealing tops, both of which I hate, and at least if you're a B and have to wear too loose shirts it doesn't make you seem five sizes bigger because your boobs 'cause the clothes to hang out farther.

Sorry if this seems like OMG NO YOU BITCH I HAVE IT HARDER! I just really like clothing and shopping, and it is one of those little "well damn it" things in life that pretty things are rarely designed for my body shape.

34As have so many clothes that fit them.

Oh, wait, women's clothes are designed to accommodate for breasts, aren't they? Those things I don't technically have.

Guess that's why they just kind of... sag there with extra material, no matter what size I buy.

Re: 117

[identity profile] oltha_heri.livejournal.com 2010-03-24 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
This is a problem that happens when you get bigger too. B is what people claim is the average (I'm not disputing this, I just don't know) as a D, which isn't even that big, I have to buy things a size up if I want to be able to button shirts, or not show half my boob, and then it hangs weirdly and too big everywhere else.

Oh? You're telling me none of those women are ever dragged out in tabloids as looking like young boys, jokes about their boyfriends being gay are never made, and they are never constantly pointed out as "unhealthy" looking while women the same size except with larger breasts aren't?

I'm also pretty sure you could make a list of conventionally beautiful women with large breasts who are also celebrities, but obviously that wouldn't demean or attempt to dismiss the arguments of anyone saying women with large breasts can't feel like they're considered fat or flawed from them. It's funny how that works.

They have in common that none of them could ever make porn without it being accused of being child porn in Australia?
