Well, actually, women with larger breasts do actually have worse problems. Small breasts don't cause back strain, and a number of other physical issues.

Not to mention they are hugely impractical, and, when natural, are often associated with a larger body type that isn't found attractive by our society and thus there are few pluses to having significantly sized breasts.

And apparently people are talking like C's and D's when they say large, I'm talking about larger than that in this thread. (Sorry for the multiple edits in your inbox.)

Idk, I didn't assume OP meant that large. The people who always reply to these secrets, however - even the ones that never mention large breasts - do tend to assume that somehow any discussion of small breasts must be taken over by how good they have it. I never really think I've ever seen a single discussion on small (and to clarify, by small I don't mean B's any more than I think OP meant anything as large as an E or larger) breasts that didn't derail into the entire discussion being about large breasts.

I understand that there are problems - especially health problems - associated with large breasts. I would just like to, for once, however see a discussion on the self-esteem of a woman with small breasts not become a field for insulting that same body type.

I'm pretty hormonal right now, and I didn't say things very well earlier. I probably can't say things very well right now - I have huge self-esteem issues about the whole subject, and I hate to admit it, but just trying to figure out how to phrase to people how demeaned every comment here has made me feel made me cry and give up earlier. My comment was more intended along the lines that never have I ever seen, in a discussion originally about large breasts, people storm in en masse to tell them all to shut up because they have no right to complain. And, on the other hand, never have I not seen the same happen on a discussion about small breasts.

And I suspect most people here aren't agreeing on terms. I would consider a D to be large, the same way that many people here are calling B's small. And you know, personally, to me B's being considered totally ittybitty - and AA's not even being considered, too small for people to mention - seems honestly bizarre because I was already an adult before I even grew into an A cup.

I'm probably not in the best frame of mind to deal with subject either as I just had my godmother finally get her breast reduction surgery and the hassle (which was totally worth it, she had E's and back problems) has been around me recently.

I would just like to, for once, however see a discussion on the self-esteem of a woman with small breasts not become a field for insulting that same body type.
I think the problem is that most of us do have issues with our bodies and those problems can be pretty deep rooted and serious. And I have seen discussions about the self-esteem issues of large breasted women also become about how BUT OMG EVERYBODY SAYS THAT IS WHAT'S ATTRACTIVE BE HAPPY YOUR NOT A TRIPLE A, or something. I consider B and C average and A's and else small, and unfortunately like you, D large (it's my own size and way more impractical than one would think, I also irrationally blame them and see them as a fact that I am big, I don't mean fat, it's just I'm tall and broad and I just look at my breasts and think YOUR PART OF THIS AREN'T YOU!). Two of my best friends in high school had teeny breasts and it was always kind of like, why do they get to wear pretty bras and v-neck shirts without showing too much, and more importantly why do they get to pull off dressing androgynously? I even went through a period of binding my breasts. It's just one of those situations where the grass is always seen as greener, and it's always kind of annoying to see someone tout or regret the fact that they have what you see as better.

And to be honest my first reaction to this secret had nothing to do with my or other people's confidence issues, and was: Billie Piper doesn't have small breasts. And there are actresses who are touted as sex symbols who, at least in my mind, legitly have small breasts.
