I know I might be coming off as an elitist asshole saying this but:

1. The scene that you're talking about was never about being 'Punk-as-fuck.' I mean, My Chemical Romance, FOB, and Panic? Uh, no. Those are pop-punk bands.

2. Most of the people that were originally in Bandom and were a part of the scene as you see it are gone because they grew out of it and/or got sick of the bullshit kids who have the same problems you do.
