Heh, this is where I am with one of my fandoms. One of my favorite characters died in the finale, and I'm looking forward to next season but I'm also like I NEED TIME TO MOURN OKAY.

And you're sad why, exactly? Watching him fall into the pit was a load of laughs. It was telegraphed so far and so badly that Wile E. Coyote had better, more meaningful 'deaths'. I'm sad, too, but I'm sad because his death means absolutely nothing. He finally got to make his big play for redemption, and it was a total joke, badly setup and badly delivered. It didn't do him or the show any favors. Total ripoff. I know he was supposed to be saving the world, but it just felt like he was wiping his own stink off. The world was just a booby prize.

Yeah, this was my problem with the finale. Everything about it felt camp.

It was 'rocks fall, everyone dies .... ok maybe not. LOL'

The episode were Jo and Ellen died was well setup and felt more like a finale episode should.

you're not the only one bb. I miss annoying and wonderful Sam too. rewatching from the beginning is a pretty good remedy, though, so you can watch him go from obnoxious huffy nerd to the adult he finally got to become (even w/o bangs)

Aww, me too. I mean, I can't wait until September either, but I still cried for Sam. Then again, I've always leaned more toward Sam's side, even though I love Dean, too.
