I was going to be all "get over it," but honestly, I still remember the first time a favorite show of mine got (unjustly!) canceled, too.

I don't get blaming the replacement, though. Pilots for TV shows are just like millions of sperm trying for a chance at the egg. Whatever gets on the air is just really lucky.
