I was going to be all "get over it," but honestly, I still remember the first time a favorite show of mine got (unjustly!) canceled, too.

I don't get blaming the replacement, though. Pilots for TV shows are just like millions of sperm trying for a chance at the egg. Whatever gets on the air is just really lucky.

Huh, I vaguely recall that. Another reason for me to dislike GX, I guess, though to be fair I gave the show a chance. I know how you feel OP, but it's not so much the show's fault as it is the bosses of the network.

120. o.O; I can’t believe DBZ was still showing at the time GX came out. That show was out when I was in first grade. GX showed up when I was in high school. But I’m fortunate enough to dislike both.

If I remember correctly DBZ was playing at 3 times slots at one point in time? God, I was never happier than when this series was finally laid to rest.

Besides, the dvds had been out for years when this started airing.

Aw, that happened to me when Ranma 1/2 replaced Sailor Moon! I started liking Ranma after watching a few episodes, though.

But I always hated that show about anthrophomorphic-half-mechanical dinosaurs that replacd The Swat Cats :/

I watched DBZ as a small child and now I can't stand to look at the art. Akira Toriyama's art style just makes my eyes bleed, I LOVE YGO-GX its adorable.

Psh, when InuYasha got yanked off air I absolutely hated Fooly Cooly (however its spelled) and refused to watch it, because it replaced IY. Even when my friends raved about it.

I did eventually watch the first ep, years later.
